Rights of the Government of Nepal in relation to Development Areas Rights of the Government of Nepal in relation to Development Areas Rights of the Government of Nepal in relation to Development Areas: After publication of the notice under section 2, the Government of Nepal may do the following:-

( a) To instruct the designated officers to carry out surveys and such officers are allowed to enter any land in the development area. This Act came into force on 15th June 2065. Repealed by the Republic Strengthening and Some Nepal Laws Amendment Act, 2066. As amended by the Certain Nepal Laws (Amendment and Re-Administration) Act, 2020.

(b) To construct roads, wharves, canals and similar works necessary to implement the development plan.
