Section 44C
To be transacted through a financial institution or banking instrument

(1) The Government of Nepal, in consultation with the National Bank, may publish a notice in the Nepal Gazette and provide that the purchase and sale of any service or item of a specified value or more and other transactions shall be done only through financial institutions or banking instruments. (2) In the notice under sub-section (1) It shall be the duty of all concerned to make the purchase, sale and other transactions of the mentioned goods or services through financial institutions or banking instruments without cash.
