Section 23
Foreign nationals must obtain work permit to work in Nepal
: (1) Any foreign worker must obtain work permit as prescribed to work in Nepal.
(2) Notwithstanding anything written elsewhere in this Act, foreign nationals working in Nepal shall obtain a work permit as prescribed, except in cases where they are granted diplomatic immunity or are not required to obtain a work permit under any treaty or agreement with the Government of Nepal.
