The person who is to receive the decoration or the person referred to in sub-section (4) of section 7 of the Act shall receive the decoration during the decoration ceremony.
(2) According to sub-rule (1), the person who does not accept the jewels in the ceremony should receive the jewels from the Ministry of Home Affairs within one year from the date of the ceremony.
(3) If the person does not come to receive the grant even within the period specified in sub-rule (2), the grant will not be granted to such person.
