(1) A person who has attained the specified qualifications who wishes to work as an insurance agent must submit an application to the committee along with the recommendation of the relevant insurer. (2) Upon receipt of the application as per sub-section (1), the committee, after conducting the necessary investigation on the said application, shall issue a license to the applicant by taking the prescribed fee. The insurance agent's license should be issued in the prescribed format and if there is any reason why the license should not be issued, the committee should inform the concerned applicant.
