Miscellaneous
9.1 Protection from acts done in good faith: The Registrar of the Council shall not be liable for any act done in good faith under this Act or the Rules. 9.2 Dissolution of the Council: 9.2.1 If the Government of Nepal feels that the Council has failed to exercise its rights in accordance with this Act and Rules, or has misused its rights or has exercised more than its rights, the Council has failed to fulfill its duties as per the Act and Rules. The Government of Nepal can dissolve the Council. 9.2.2 After the dissolution of the council according to sub-section 9.2.1, the government of Nepal may do all the work to be done by the council according to this Act and rules until another council is formed or by forming a committee and doing it through that committee. 9.2.3 After the dissolution of the council according to sub-section 9.2.1, the funds and other assets of the said council shall be retained by the Government of Nepal and transferred to the said council after the formation of another council. 9.2.4 Within three months after the dissolution of the council according to sub-section 9.2.1, the Government of Nepal shall form another council according to section 2.3. 9.3 Punishment: 9.3.1 A person practicing Ayurveda medicine in violation of clause 5.1 will be imprisoned for up to three years and fined up to thirty thousand rupees. 9.3.2 A registered medical practitioner who abuses the right under Section 5.2 shall be punished with a fine of up to two thousand rupees or imprisonment for a term of up to two months or both. 9.3.3 According to Section 6.1, a person who manufactures Ayurvedic medicines without taking the approval of the Ayurveda Department shall be punished with a fine up to three thousand rupees or imprisonment for a term up to six months or both. 9.3.4 A person who sells and distributes Ayurvedic medicine in violation of clause 6.2 will be imprisoned for one year and fined up to ten thousand rupees. 9.3.5 A person who commits any act in violation of this Act or rules except as provided in this section shall be fined up to two thousand rupees. 9.3a. Investigating and Prosecuting Officers: Officials or bodies conducting investigations and prosecuting offenses under Sections 5.1 and 5.2 and related procedures shall be published by the Government of Nepal in the Nepal Gazette.It will be as specified. 9.4 The Council may make necessary rules to implement the objectives of this Act and such rules shall be enforced only after approval by the Government of Nepal. 9.5 Right to make regulations: The Council may make regulations for its daily operations subject to this Act and rules with the approval of the Government of Nepal.
