(1) Notwithstanding anything written in Section 11, if it is deemed appropriate to form an investigation team involving experts in the relevant subject to investigate organized crime, the Government of Nepal may form such a team in consultation with the Attorney General and the Inspector General of Police.
(2) The investigation team constituted as per sub-section (1) shall have the same powers as the investigation officer in accordance with this Act or prevailing laws.
(3) The investigation team as per sub-section (1) shall submit the investigation report to the investigation officer after completing the investigation.
(4) On the basis of the report given in accordance with sub-section (3), the investigation officer shall investigate the case and take action.
