(1) The committee may convene a special general meeting if deemed necessary.
(2) During the audit of the fund, if it is necessary to call a special general meeting for any reason, the auditor may request the committee to call such a meeting and the committee shall also call the general meeting accordingly.
(3) If at least twenty-five percent of the shareholders who hold at least ten percent of the paid-up capital of the fund, or at least twenty-five percent of the total number of shareholders, send a request to the fund to hold a special general meeting, the committee shall convene a special general meeting of the fund.
(4) If it is deemed necessary to convene a special general meeting during inspection or for any other reason, the Government of Nepal may order such meeting to be convened by the committee.
(5) When convening a special general meeting in accordance with this section, at least fifteen days in advance, a notice shall be published in a national level daily newspaper at least twice mentioning the place, date and time of the meeting as well as the agenda.
