(1) Expert service shall be as mentioned in Schedule 3.
(2) The service as per sub-rule (1) shall be provided by a doctor registered as a specialist in the relevant council after obtaining a master's degree or equivalent degree in medical science related subjects.
(3) The specialized service shall be as mentioned in Schedule-4.
(4) The service as per sub-rule (3) shall be provided by a physician who has obtained an academic degree above the master's degree in medical science and is registered as an expert in the relevant council and has acquired high expertise in accordance with the prevailing law.
(5) Ministries and provincial governments may provide specialist services through telemedicine. (6) Government of Nepal, state government or local level can provide expert services even through mobile camps.
(7) A health institution wishing to conduct specialist services through mobile camps may conduct such services in coordination with the relevant local level by taking permission from the Ministry of Health of the province.
(8) Every medical college shall provide specialist services including surgery in at least one district level hospital of the district designated by the Ministry.
