(1) Before transporting goods from one district to another district for commercial purposes by means of transportation registered according to the law, the details of the goods to be transported should be entered in the web-based central information system.
(2) The user of the means of transportation as per subsection (1) shall keep the printed copy of the goods declaration and the documents specified by the department with him throughout the transportation period.
(3) Owners of means of transport registered or about to be registered within Nepal must register the serial number of the current device (GPS device) that shows the location according to the standards set by the department and connect it to their means of transport compulsorily.
(4) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-section (3), the department may prescribe that the GPS device should not be compulsorily installed in any means of transport or in any place.
(4) The Director General may impose a fine of up to fifty thousand rupees for the first time and up to one lakh rupees for the first time on the owner or the user of the relevant means of transport who acts contrary to the provisions mentioned in sub-section (1), (2) or (3).
(5) The provisions of this clause shall be enforced from the date specified by the Government of Nepal by publishing a notice in the Nepal Gazette
