: (1) At least fifteen days before taking or using any new house or land for the purpose of tea plantation, the manager should give written information to the local labor office with the following details:
(a) Name and address of the tea estate,
(b) the name and address of the manager of the tea estate,
(c) Address for exchange of correspondence with tea plantations,
(d) Name and address of the manager of the tea estate,
(e) Details of workers or employees involved in tea plantations.
(2) The manager shall send the written information with the details mentioned in sub-rule (1) to the local labor office within thirty days from the date of commencement of this regulation.
(3) If a manager has not been appointed in a tea garden or if he has not yet taken charge of the management of the tea garden, the person acting as a manager or in the absence of such a person, the manager shall be considered as the manager of that tea garden for the purpose of this rule.
