(1) The commercial measure (length and girth) and the weight of the noun object, the size and the right of reduction of examination shall be as per Schedule-4.
(2) Commercial measures and weights or measuring and weighing devices brought into commercial use, the capacity, material basis and extent of reduction of the test shall be as per Schedule-5.

(4) The two-tier scales (vim-scale) brought by the trader in commercial transactions or in circulation should be hung on a stand or on a hook in the place of his business. But this sub-rule shall not apply to haats, weekly market traders and itinerant traders.
(5) Details of volume measuring devices shall be as per schedule-5 (a) and details of length and time measuring devices shall be as per schedule-5 (b).
(6) The details of distance measuring devices will be as per schedule-5 (c).
(7) On the basis of measurement and weight, the extent of reduction recognized when selling goods for commercial purposes shall be as per Schedule-5(d) and the extent of reduction of sealed packages shall be as per Nepal Quality.
