Section 19
Do not disturb the peace

(1) On the day of voting for the election, from three hours before the start of the voting until the end of the voting, no one shall interfere with the voter or the person or staff involved in the voting at the polling station in the house, building or place where the polling station is located and any private property around it that affects the voting. or do any of the following acts in a public house, building or land to disturb the peace or to create fear or panic or to disturb the election atmosphere:-
(a) to use sound system, short message service (SMS), social media or any other similar means,
(b) to play instruments, to dance, to have public feasts, to perform processions or to hold any kind of assembly or ceremony or to make or cause hulhujjat or uproar.
(2) The polling officer or monitor may impose a fine of up to fifty thousand rupees on a person who acts contrary to sub-section (1).
