Rule 6
Prohibited methods of hunting
1 No person shall hunt wild animals or birds by any of the following methods without the written order of the Chief
(a) By entering a ghat for drinking water or licking salt or mud or at a place where you live,
(b) by tapping any kind of trap, damal, net, dharap, khor or paso,
(c) by administering poison or narcotic drug,
(d) using poisoned weapons,
(e) by playing leaves or by calling with artificial speech or by playing any kind of instrument or taperecord,
(f) Sitting in a nest or nest,
(g) by displaying firecrackers or lights, by making a hiding place such as scaffolding or animal bending, 9jh. Riding in motorcars, jeeps, trucks, carts, tractors, airplanes, helicopters,
(j) Setting fire to any kind of grass or forest for the purpose of hunting, 9t. By taking the help of a dog in hunting a wild animal and by taking the help of a domesticated bird in the case of hunting a bird. 920 In case of killing a wild elephant or a man-eating man-eater, a tiger or a leopard, any other method can be adopted except clause j of sub-rule 1.
