(1) In accordance with subsection (1) of section 68 of the Act, when appointing labor assistants, labor assistants may be appointed from among the female officers who have qualified in countries where one thousand or more female workers have been sent.
(2) The appointment of labor assistants will be done on the basis of approved criteria.
(3) When appointing a labor assistant, his position will be kept in the Ministry and sent to work in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
(4) The labor assistant appointed for the country where Nepal has an embassy may be assigned by the head of the Nepali embassy in that country to do work related to the labor of Nepali workers in other countries under the jurisdiction of the embassy.
(5) The Labor Assistant shall be responsible to the concerned Head of Embassy for the execution of his daily work.
(6) The designation and facilities of labor assistants will be determined by the Government of Nepal.
(7) The labor assistant shall send the report of the work carried out by him to the Ministry and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on a quarterly basis.
