Section 1

Abbreviation, Extension and Commencement

(1) The name of this Act is “Acquisition of Immovable Property Act, 2013”.
(2) This Act shall come into effect immediately in Kathmandu Valley and in other localities from the date specified by the Government of Nepal by publishing a notice in the Gazette.
