Section 1
Abbreviation, extension and commencement
(1) This Act may be called the “Prisons Act, 2019”.
(2) This Act shall be extended throughout Nepal
(3) This Act shall come into force from the date specified by the Government of Nepal through a notice published in the Nepal Gazette.
