The watershed protection officer in the protected watershed area can have the following works done for the protection of land and watershed -

(a) Prevention or control dam (Dam), Galchi Construction of control (checkdam), embankment (embankment), terrace improvement (terrace improvement), culvert, auxiliary culvert or sewer (diversion channel), retaining wall (retaining wall), pond and other such necessary structures and taking care of them, /p>

(b) Arranging trial plots (trial plots) and taking care of them,

(c) Planting trees, planting grass, weeds or other plants and taking care of them and Growing, (d) Protecting, caring for and promoting forest water, weeds, grass and other natural vegetation in landslide-prone lands and hillsides,

(e) Cultivating crops and fruits, (f) Maintaining the fertility of the soil and the cleanliness of water and environment in a balanced manner, (g) Electrification in related places,

(h) To perform other tasks related to land and watershed protection as prescribed by the Government of Nepal.
