In addition to the functions, duties and rights written elsewhere in this Act, the functions, duties and rights of the organization shall be as follows:- (a) Encouraging people with low income to form groups, (a) Small savings from groups or group members. Collecting, (b) Granting small loans to groups or members of groups to operate small business with or without securing any movable property or collateral, (c) Obtaining loans or grants from the Government of Nepal or banks or domestic or foreign associations, organizations, etc. and such loans or grants In the distribution of micro-loans or for the purpose of making the work effective, other organizations receiving loan grants or any assistance from foreign associations, organizations, etc. must obtain the approval of the Government of Nepal through the bank. to do and to identify the feasibility of such an action, (e) to spread information about small businesses that improve the economic status of low-income people, (f) to conduct seminars related to small businesses, to provide training for designing projects, to assist, to provide technical knowledge and the need Gathering technical assistance according to, (g) providing necessary services to the group regarding micro-savings and micro-credit operations, (h) taking necessary action towards disbursement of micro-loans on time, (j) investigating from time to time whether the micro-loans have been properly used and whether they have been properly used during the investigation. If not, give necessary instructions or take necessary actions, (j) Perform other tasks as specified in relation to small savings collection and small loan distribution, (k) Work as an agent of commercial banks and financial institutions.
