(1) If there is any error in the name or details of a voter in the list published in accordance with section 13, the concerned voter or any member of his family may submit an application to the concerned name registration officer.
(2) In relation to the application received in accordance with sub-section (1), the name registration officer shall carry out the necessary investigation and submit it to the relevant chief name registration officer.
