(1) Domestic torture or sexual torture by mutilating or sprinkling sharp or other similar substances or inflicting pain on the body, face, face or any part of the body. If a person commits a crime of violence, he will be punished according to the prevailing law. (1A) If someone commits domestic violence other than what is written in sub-section (1), such person shall be fined from three thousand rupees to twenty five thousand rupees or imprisoned for six months or both.

(2) A person who engages in or encourages domestic violence or becomes a drunkard shall be sentenced to half of the punishment of the main offender. There will be double punishment.

(4) If a person holding a position of public accountability commits an offense against his wife, senior citizen, disabled person, minor or pregnant woman according to this Act, he will be punished with an additional ten percent.

(5) If someone does not comply with the order given by the court in accordance with section 6, such person shall be punished with a fine ranging from two thousand rupees to fifteen thousand rupees or imprisonment for a term up to four months or both.
