(1) If someone transmits a program without obtaining a license from a broadcasting organization as per Section 6 or without obtaining approval as per Section 9, such person shall be charged the license and permit fee and the fee charged as per Section 10 by the order of the designated authority. shall be punished with a fine of an equivalent amount or with imprisonment for a term which may extend to one year or with both.
(2) If any person broadcasts any program contrary to this Act or the rules made under this Act or does any act contrary to this Act or the rules made under this Act, such broadcasting organization, broadcaster or other related person shall be fined up to ten thousand rupees or imprisoned for one year. or both can be punished.
