(1) If someone commits the following offences, the designated officer may impose the following punishment:-
(a) Fine up to two lakh rupees in case of violation under clause (a) of section 24.
(b) In case of committing an offense under clause (b) of section 24, a fine of up to one lakh rupees based on the production estimate.
(c) Fine up to three lakh rupees in case of offense under Clause (c) of Section 24.
(2) If the officer under sub-section (1) commits an offense under clause (c) of section 24 and changes the prescribed land use, in addition to the fine mentioned in sub-section (1), he may issue an order to maintain the land use as before within six months.
