Section 33
Punishment
If someone commits the following offences, he will be punished as follows:-
(a) If he commits an offense under Clause (a) of Section 32, he shall be banned from participating in any sports competition for a specified period according to the amount and nature of the prohibited drugs consumed by him, and fined up to ten thousand rupees for the first time and a fine of up to ten thousand rupees for the first time and every time after the second time. Fine from ten thousand to fifty thousand rupees,
(b) In case of committing an offense under clause (b) of section 32, a fine of ten thousand to fifty thousand rupees,
(c) If he commits an offense under Clause (c) of Section 32, he shall be imprisoned for three years and fined up to fifty thousand rupees, if any amount has been transacted during the said offence, the amount of such transaction shall also be confiscated. (d) A person who orders or instructs, encourages, incites or helps to commit such an offense under Clause (c) of Section 32 shall be punished as the principal offender and such offense is committed by a person holding a public office or a person representing Nepal abroad. If he is imprisoned for three more years,
(e) Officials, coaches, referees and players who commit offenses under Clause (d) of Section 32 shall be suspended for one to three years and prosecuted and punished according to the prevailing law,
(f) In case of committing an offense under Clause (e) of Section 32, punishment according to the prevailing law and a fine of thirty thousand rupees to one lakh rupees,
(g) In case of committing an offense under clause (f) of section 32, the registration of such association shall be canceled and the officials of the association shall be prosecuted according to the prevailing law.
