(1) Notwithstanding anything contained in existing law, there is reason to believe that a person is using or about to use a telephone, mobile phone or any other means of telecommunication or exchanging any information by electronic or any other means of communication in connection with the commission of an organized crime. If there is a reason, the investigating officer may order the related agency, officer or service provider to disable such telephone, mobile phone or communication medium or arrange for no phone or communication contact with the permission of the authorized officer.
(2) In case of an order as per sub-section (1), such officer, agency or service provider shall make arrangements to disable such telephone, mobile phone or communication or make no communication contact.
