Section 22
Director's resignation condition

(1) The Government of Nepal, the Council of Ministers shall relieve the governor, deputy governor and director who have reached the condition of being relieved of office in accordance with sub-section (5). However, the Government of Nepal shall not deprive the concerned person of a reasonable opportunity to submit his explanation before such discharge. (2) The Government of Nepal When dismissing the governor according to sub-section (1), it will be done on the recommendation of the inquiry committee formed according to section 23. (3) When the director or deputy governor is relieved from office according to sub-section (1), the Government of Nepal will conduct an investigation by the committee based on the recommendation submitted by the committee. (4) Sub-section According to (1) the governor, deputy governor and director shall be deemed to have been automatically suspended from their positions as soon as the process of removing them from office is started. , or (b) in case of lack of capacity to carry out the tasks required to be done by the bank in order to achieve the objectives of the bank in accordance with this Act, or (c) if it is seen that he has acted to cause damage to the banking and financial system of the country, or (d) dishonesty in the bank's operations or if he is found to have done bad deeds, or (e) if he has been disqualified from doing any profession or business due to bad conduct, his certificate has been taken away or he has been banned from doing business, or (f) if he has absented himself from more than three consecutive meetings of the committee without reasonable excuse. (6) The governor, deputy governor and director cannot be removed for any reason other than the conditions mentioned in sub-section (5).
