Section 21
Disqualification of Directors
No person shall be eligible to be appointed to the office of Governor, Deputy Governor or Director:- (a) a member or office bearer of a political party, or (b) a person blacklisted for any dealings with a commercial bank or financial institution, or (c) An incumbent officer of a commercial bank and financial institution, or (d) a person holding five percent or more of shares or voting rights in a commercial bank and financial institution, or (e) a person who is in debt to a creditor, (f) a person who is in arrears, or ( g) A person who has been convicted by a court of law on a criminal charge of moral turpitude.
