(1) In any of the following cases, the post of nominated member shall be deemed to be vacant in accordance with clauses (b) and (j) of sub-section (2) of section 11:-
(a) In case of death,
(b) If the term of office expires,
(c) If he resigns from the post,
(d) If he is absent from the committee meeting for three consecutive times without giving any notice,
(e) A proposal submitted by any member of the committee that it is necessary to remove the member of the committee from the position of acting contrary to the purpose of this Act or being inactive in the work of the fund or not assisting the fund or doing any work that causes loss or damage to the fund or acting against the policy and instructions of the fund or the committee. If passed by more than fifty percent of the members.
(2) For the purposes of clause (e) of sub-section (1), the procedure for submitting the proposal, discussing the proposal and voting on the proposal shall be as prescribed by the committee.
