The functions, duties and powers of the Assembly shall be as follows:-
(a) To determine the policy of the University,
(b) To guide the University and the bodies under it,
(c) To determine the degree to be awarded by the University and to award such degree,
(d) To approve the University's long-term plan, annual budget and program,
(e) To pass rules relating to the University,
(f) To discuss the annual report of the bodies under the University and to evaluate the programs of such bodies,
(g) To discuss and approve the audit report of the University,
(h) Formation of various committees, sub-committees or working teams as required (i) To do other work as prescribed.
