(1) In order to facilitate and simplify the customs clearance process and manage the customs in a coordinated manner, there will be a coordination committee as follows:-
(a) Director General, Department - Coordinator
(b) Director General, Drug Administration Department - Member
(FT) Director General, Department of Food, Technology and Quality Control - Member
(d) Director General, Department of Commerce, Supply and Consumer Protection – Member
(e) Director General, Department of Animal Services - Member
(f) Director General, Nepal Quality and Weights and Measures Department - Member
(g) Director General, Department of Health Services—Member
(h) Director General, Department of Agriculture -Member
(i) Armed Police Force, Nepal Armed Police Deputy Inspector General level representative - member
(j) Nepal Police Deputy Inspector General level representative - Member
(k) Representative, Nepal Rashtra Bai - Member
(T1) (Head or representative of other bodies affiliated to the Nepal National Single Door System invited by the coordinator - member
(l) Director of Departmental Policy - Member Secretary
(2) The meeting of the coordination committee as per sub-rule (1) shall be held as per the requirement on the date, time and place specified by the coordinator.
(3) If the coordinator considers it necessary, he can invite officials and persons of other agencies to the meeting of the coordination committee.
(4) The committee may determine its own procedure.
