Section 37
Coordination Committee
(1) There shall be a National Identity Card and Registration Coordinating Committee as follows to maintain coordination between the relevant bodies in relation to the management, implementation and access and use of the National Identity Card and Registration and to carry out the necessary work related to the implementation of the Identity Card and Registration:-
(a) Secretary, Ministry - Chairman (b) Inspector General of Police, Nepal Police - Member (c) Joint Secretary, Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers (see relevant division) - Member (d) Joint Secretary, Ministry (see relevant division) - Member (e) Joint Secretary, Ministry of Finance, Government of Nepal (See relevant division) - Member (f) Joint Secretary, Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration, Government of Nepal (See relevant division) - Member (G) Joint Secretary, Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Government of Nepal (See relevant division) - Member (h) ) Joint Secretary, Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security, Government of Nepal (see relevant division) - Member
(i) Director General, Central Statistics Department - Member
(h) Director General, Department of Information Technology - Member
(k) Director General-Member-Secretary (2) The procedure for the meeting of the coordination committee shall be as determined by the committee itself. (3) Officials of other concerned agencies may be invited to the meeting of the coordination committee as needed.
