(1) There should be no discrimination in remuneration for work of equal value among workers on the basis of gender.
(2) For the purposes of sub-section (1), whether or not the work is of equal value shall be determined on the basis of the nature of the work concerned, the time and effort required to do the work, skill and the product obtained from the work.
