In addition to the functions, duties and powers mentioned elsewhere in the Act and these regulations, the other functions, duties and powers of the committee shall be as follows:-

(a) To settle freed workers. To identify suitable land and recommend it to the Ministry, (b) to prepare an updated list of free workers who have been provided with land for residence in accordance with this regulation, who are yet to be provided with land and who have not been able to enjoy the land despite having received land for various reasons ,

(c) Coordinating the programs to be conducted by various agencies and non-governmental organizations for self-employment,

(d) The government of Nepal has implemented measures for income generation, business and employment promotion of self-employment. Helping to implement the program effectively.
