4. Work, Duties and Powers of the Committee:

The work, duties and powers of the Committee shall be as follows:-

(a) To approve and implement plans and programs related to the development of Mankamana area.
(b) For the implementation of plans and programs related to the development of Mankamana area, the committee will contact and coordinate with domestic or foreign governments, national or international associations, organizations or individuals.
(c) Protecting, promoting and reconstructing cultural, religious, historical, social and archeological important objects and places directly or indirectly related to Mankamana area.
(d) Collecting and preserving manuscripts, inscriptions, copperplates and printed materials related to Mankamana area.
(e) To maintain and protect the natural resources, environment and animals within the Mankamana area.
(f) Organizing meetings, conferences, symposiums, exhibitions, etc. for the purpose of the importance of Mankamana area and its development.
(g) For the development and progress of Mankamana area, efforts will be made to coordinate the necessary between government and non-government organizations.
(h) Searching for temples and caves within the Mankamana area and doing their proper protection, promotion and development.
(i) Organizing the schools, health centers, bridges, sewers, canals, roads, water, electricity, telephones, public toilets, hospices, religious places of worship, monasteries, temples, etc. in the Mankamana area. (j) Controlling and prohibiting the conduct of activities that may harm the religious and cultural importance of the Mankamana area. (k) According to this order, to carry out other actions necessary for the fulfillment of the objectives of the committee.
