: In addition to the work, duties and powers mentioned elsewhere in this regulation, the work, duties and powers of the Committee shall be as follows:-
(a) To determine the amount required to be kept in the fund from time to time from the Government of Nepal, Nepal Rastra Bank, banks and financial institutions,
(b) Identifying sick industries,
(c) To identify the reasons why the industry is sick,
(d) To study the feasibility of reviving ailing industries,
(e) Determining the criteria for actions (financial and non-financial support) to be carried out while reviving the sick industry,
(f) To coordinate with banks and financial institutions as needed in the context of revitalizing sick industries,
(g) to implement, bring about to revive the sick industry,
(h) To monitor and evaluate the operational conditions of sick industries under the scope of revival,
(i) To review the progress of rehabilitation work and submit a report (j) In relation to liquidation of sick industries that cannot be revived, take necessary action in coordination with agencies such as industry, creditor banks, (k) To do other necessary work related to revival of sick industry.
