– The Tasks, Duties and Powers of the Committee shall be as follows –
(a) To cause the record of free earnings to be updated,
(b) to make necessary arrangements for the restoration of exempted earnings,
(c) To implement the program approved by the Government of Nepal for the restoration of free labor,
(d) To monitor whether someone has hired someone as a wage laborer,
(e) Recommending the Government of Nepal, banks or financial institutions to provide loans necessary for doing business related to income generation for free earners,
(f) To coordinate with various agencies or associations regarding housing, education, employment training or skill development for free workers,
(g) To do the necessary work regarding the rights and interests of free workers,
(h) To do other work as prescribed.
