(1) A welfare committee will be constituted with the following members for the operation of the welfare fund:
(a) Secretary, Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security – Chairman
(b) Director General, Labor and Employment Promotion Department – ​​Member
(c) Representative, Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supply – Member
(d) Two representatives of Federation of Nepal Chamber of Commerce and Industry - Member
(e) Three representatives of the Federation of Trade Unions – Members (2) Official level employees of the Government of Nepal designated by the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security will work as members-secretaries of the committee.
(3) If the Government of Nepal deems it necessary, it may publish a notice in the Nepal Gazette and make necessary additions, reductions or changes in the members of the committee.
(4) The committee may invite the experts of the related subject to the meeting of the committee as needed.
(5) The committee may also form a sub-committee under it to do certain work.
(6) The committee and sub-committee officials and invited members will receive meeting allowance and other benefits for attending the meeting as determined by the committee.
