(1) There will be a committee named Special Economic Zone Development Committee to operate and manage the Special Economic Zone.
(2) The composition of the committee shall be as follows:-
(a) Secretary, Ministry of Industries – Chairman
(b) Joint Secretary, Ministry of Finance – Member
(c) Joint Secretary, Ministry of Power – Member
(d) Joint Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs – Member
(e) Joint Secretary, Ministry of Commerce and Supply – Member
(f) Joint Secretary, Ministry of Labor and Employment – ​​Member
(g) Joint Secretary, Board of Investment – ​​Member
(h) Chairman of Federation of Nepal Chamber of Commerce and Industry or a member of the Federation designated by him - Member
(i) Two members, including at least one woman appointed by the Ministry, from among the persons with at least ten years of experience in the field of industry, commerce, trade, revenue administration, law, engineering or management with a master's degree - members
(j) Executive Director – Member Secretary
(3) The term of office of the member as per clause (i) of sub-section (2) shall be two years.
(4) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-section (3), the Ministry may remove the member as per clause (j) of sub-section (2) at any time if he does not act in accordance with his position. But he will not be deprived of the opportunity to submit a clarification before such removal.
