3. Composition of the committee:

(1) There will be a committee named Greater Barahkshetra Development Committee to develop and protect Barahkshetra.
(2) The composition of the committee shall be as follows:-
(a) A person designated by the Government of Nepal from among the people who have permanent residence in Barah Kshetra - Chairman
(b) Chairpersons of the district development committee of the district where the Barah area is located - member
(c) Chief District Officers of the district where the Barah area is located - member
(d) Heads of the shipping office of the district where the Barah area is located - member
(e) Heads and chairpersons of municipalities and village development committees within Barah Kshetra - members (f) Three persons nominated by the Ministry including at least one woman from among the people who have contributed significantly to the development and protection of the Barah area, representing all the districts in the Barah area - members
(g) Barahkshetra Ancient Haridwar Chatradham Acharya Peetha Shri Radhakrishna Bhakti Sadhana Spiritual Institution President or the representative of the institution appointed by him - Member
(h) Executive Director-Member-Secretary (3) Notwithstanding anything written in clauses (b), (c), (d) and (e) of sub-section (2), District Development Committee representing different districts in the committee in accordance with those clauses Chairman, chief district officer, head of the land office and head and chairperson of the municipal and village development committee, the chairman of the district development committee, the chief district officer, the head of the land office and the head and chairperson of the municipality and village development committee of the following districts will be members of the committee in turn for each year. (4) The term of office of the chairman and nominated members will be four years.
(5) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-section (4), if the chairman and nominated member do not act according to their position, the ministry may remove them at any time. However, he will not be deprived of the opportunity to submit an explanation before being removed from office.
