Rule 186
Report of the Committee

(1) The report of the committee shall be submitted to the meeting by the chairman or in his absence by any other member of the committee appointed by the speaker.
(2) In order to submit the report according to sub-rule (1), the Chairman or the member may give a brief statement regarding the report if he wishes.
(3) The reports presented in the meeting shall be implemented by the concerned minister.
(4) The committee can monitor and evaluate whether its annual report has been implemented and submit the report to the meeting.
(5) The chairman of the relevant committee may give notice of the proposal to the chairman within two days of the submission of such report to discuss the report submitted by the committee in the meeting regarding the monitoring and evaluation report as per sub-rule (4) and the matters assigned by the meeting.
(6) If the notice as per sub-rule (5) is received, the speaker shall allow the chairman of the relevant committee to submit a proposal to be discussed in a meeting two days later. (7) The chairman of the relevant committee may make a brief statement while submitting the proposal. Then the speaker will determine the time period for the discussion.
(8) The discussion shall be deemed to be over when the concerned minister answers the questions raised in the discussion.
