Rule 7
Committee meeting and decision
:
(1) The meeting of the committee will be held on the date, time and place specified by the chairman. But the meeting of the committee should be held at least four times in a year.
(2) If at least one-third of the total number of members of the committee request in writing to hold a meeting of the committee, the member secretary of the committee shall call the meeting of the committee with the approval of the chairman.
(3) The member secretary of the committee shall provide the members with the list of topics to be discussed in the meeting along with the notification of the meeting of the committee.
(4) The meeting of the committee will be presided over by the chairman and in his absence, a member chosen by the members from among themselves will preside over the meeting.
(5) If fifty percent of the total number of members are present, the quorum for the meeting of the committee will be considered.
(6) In the meeting of the committee, the opinion of the majority will be valid and in case of equality of votes, the person presiding over the meeting will give the deciding vote.
(7) The decision of the committee shall be verified by the member secretary of the committee.
(8) Other procedures related to the meeting of the committee shall be as determined by the committee itself.
