(1) The committee shall have a secretariat and the committee may appoint necessary staff for the operation of the secretariat. Explanation: For the purposes of this sub-rule, "employee" means an employee working in the Secretariat of the Welfare Committee.
(2) The remuneration, service conditions and facilities of the Secretariat staff shall be as prescribed by the Committee.
