(1) At the time of commencement of these rules, the employees working in different groups of Nepal Statistics Service shall be considered automatically grouped in the statistics group.
(2) The government of Nepal may change the service, group or sub-group according to the prevailing law and group the employees in the civil service who want to be grouped in the said group who have reached the minimum qualification specified for the economic planning group according to schedule-3 and group them into the economic planning group in accordance with the prevailing law. p>
