(1) Provisions related to the extension of the period of the purchase agreement shall be as mentioned in the relevant purchase agreement.
(2) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-section (1), if circumstances beyond the control, the public body cannot provide what it should provide, or if the period of the purchase agreement cannot be extended due to other reasonable reasons, the authorized officer may extend the period based on the application of the person receiving the contract.
