If any person is suspected of having property subject to tax according to this Act or prevailing law, the tax officer may issue a written order to such person to file statement of his assets. Within thirty-five days from the date of receiving the order, he shall file the details of his assets with the tax officer in the prescribed format. If he feels inclined, he can give an additional period of up to one month.
