(1) The commission may contact, consult or take opinions with any constitutional body or any ministry, department, office or public institution of the Government of Nepal in relation to its work duties.
(2) Regardless of what is written in sub-section (1), any matter related to the Commission, which should be decided by the Council of Ministers of the Government of Nepal, should be contacted through the office of the Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers.
(3) If the Commission deems it necessary to seek the opinion of any body or official regarding the constitutional and legal question related to its functioning, it may seek the opinion of the government body or the Attorney General or other government lawyers.
