Section 22
Ownership and Sale and Distribution of Forest Produce of Government-Managed Forests

(1) The Government of Nepal shall have the ownership of the forest produce of the forests managed by the government.
(2) To use, remove or sell, distribute, export or transport forest produce as per sub-section (1), the designated agency or authority may grant permission as prescribed.
(3) The price or duty of the forest produce to be licensed in accordance with sub-section (2) shall be as prescribed.
