(1) The post of Attorney General is the post as per the Interim Constitution of Nepal, 2063 and other than that, all the posts of public prosecutor will be the post of civil service as per sub-rule (2).
(2) Apart from the Attorney General, the number of services, groups, ranks and posts of various public prosecutors shall be Nepal Justice Service, Public Prosecutor Group posts as determined by the Government of Nepal from time to time.
