Section 305
Government, public or community property not to be registered in your own name

(1) No one shall register or cause to be registered in his name any government, public or community property.
(2) If anyone registers or causes any government, public or community property to be registered in the name of a particular person, such registration shall automatically be cancelled.
(3) If a complaint is made by someone regarding the registration of government, public or community property in the name of a particular person, the relevant land office shall investigate the matter with the registrant and make the necessary decision within six months of the complaint.
(4) In case any government, public or community property in the name of a specific person is canceled according to this section, the property officer shall record such transaction in the register in his office and inform the relevant district level administrative office and local level.
(5) Those who register government, public or community land contrary to this section shall be fined from twenty five thousand rupees to one lakh rupees by the land office.
(6) If the act of registering government, public or community property in one's name or in the name of a particular person is an offense even according to the prevailing law, the provisions of this section shall not interfere with the prosecution of such offence.
