(1) The government of Nepal may appoint a person as a subject consultant in order to obtain the services of an expert who has acquired expertise in a related subject that cannot be performed from a civil service position.
(2) The number of advisors to be appointed in accordance with sub-section (1), their qualifications and the procedures for appointment shall be as prescribed.
(3) The work to be performed by the consultant appointed in accordance with sub-section (1), his term of office and his rights, duties and responsibilities as well as the remuneration and other facilities he will get shall be as mentioned in the working conditions approved by the Government of Nepal at the time of his appointment.
(4) The conduct to be followed by the consultant while performing the work in that capacity shall be as prescribed.
